Cleaning and Caring for Plumbing Fixtures
Recommendations
When using cleaning products, always follow the instructions provided with the cleaning agent manufacturer. In general, ensure that:
- Any cleaning is done with proper care and never with mixed cleaning agents or excessive force
- The amount of cleaner and duration of use should not exceed manufacturer instructions
- Test the product first before proceeding
- Build-up of calcium deposits can be prevented by regular cleaning. After use, wipe away any drops of water with a soft cloth or chamois
When using spray cleaners, always spray onto the cleaning cloth or sponge rather than directly onto the fitting itself. Spray mist can penetrate the openings and gaps of the fitting and therefore void the warranty
- Residue left by personal hygiene products such as liquid soap, shampoo and shower gel can cause damage. Always ensure to completely rinse off the fittings with clear water immediately after use
- After cleaning, ALWAYS be sure to thoroughly rinse the fitting with clear water to completely remove any remaining cleaner
